Complete GLIAC Presidents' Trophy Standings | Year-by-Year Results
BAY CITY, Mich. -- The 2015-16 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) competition year is complete and the results have been tabulated. The Grand Valley State Lakers have captured their 18th consecutive GLIAC Presidents' Trophy after collecting 12 conference championships throughout the past year.
GVSU amassed 244 points during the 2015-16 season just one point shy (245) of their all-time record set three years ago. The Lakers collected seven titles and 137 points in women's competition along with five championships for 107 points from the men. This marks Grand Valley State's 23rd GLIAC Presidents' Trophy reign.
Ashland earned its 11th straight runner-up finish with 190.5 points after capturing four conference titles to finish ahead of Findlay in third with 161 points. Saginaw Valley placed fourth with a 155-point total, while Hillsdale rounded out the top five with 152 points.

The Presidents' Trophy, commonly referred to as the All-Sports Trophy, is awarded at the end of each year of competition to the conference member having demonstrated general excellence in all or most sports. The award is designed to promote well-rounded athletic programs within each member institution.
