CLEVELAND - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conferencere (GLIAC) is the only NCAA Division II Conference with four institutions in the Top 20 of the Final Fall D-II Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings.

Grand Valley State University is in second in the standings with 280.00 total points after winning the women’s cross country title, claiming a third place finish in women’s soccer, finishing seventh overall in the men’s championship race and a 33rd place finish in women’s volleyball.
Ashland University currently resides in 11th place with 171.25 total points. The Eagles placed ninth in men's cross country, ninth in football and 17th in women's volleyball.
Ferris State University sits in 15th place after the completion of the fall sports. The Bulldogs finished 13th in men's cross country, 17th in women's volleyball and 22nd in women's cross country.
Saginaw Valley State University placed 19th in the standings after the Cardinals finished second in men's soccer and 12th in women's cross country.
Two other GLIAC instutiuons were listed in the standings. Hillsdale College is tied for 81st, having finished ninth in women's volleyball. Northwood University is tied for 125th, having placed 33rd in women's volleyball.
The fall NCAA championships have been completed with the following institutions capturing titles: women’s soccer – West Florida; men’s soccer – Lynn (FL); women’s cross country – Grand Valley State (MI); men’s cross country – Adams State (CO); women’s field hockey – West Chester (PA); football – Valdosta State (GA); and women’s volleyball – Concordia St. Paul.
The Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 14 sports -- seven women’s and seven men’s.
The first Division II winter standings will be released Thursday, March 14.
