GVSU is second in Director's Cup Standings following Fall season

CLEVELAND – Grand Valley State is second with 290 points in the 2018-19 Division II Learfield Director’s Cup Standings after capturing national titles in men’s and women’s cross country, and a runner-up finish in women’s soccer.

Colorado School of Mines recorded top-10 finishes in women’s cross country and men’s cross country, and a 17th-place in men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball to score 315 points and lead the Division II in the Learfield Director’s Cup Standings. Western Washington is third, Shippensburg fourth and West Texas A&M fifth.

Among Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools, Saginaw Valley State is ninth, Ferris State 31st, Michigan Tech 40th and Ashland 61st.
