Michael Fisher // Football // Northwood Northwood linebacker Michael Fisher turned in an outstanding season on and off the field for the Timberwolves. He was named First Team All-GLIAC, thanks to leading the conference in tackles (120) and tackles per game (11.5) while ranking 16th nationally. Fisher earned GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors in the final week of the season, finishing with 10 tackles, an interception return for a touchdown and a fumble recovery in NU's win over Malone. He registered at least 10 tackles in seven games this season. At the conclusion of the season, Fisher was named Second Team Academic All-American by CoSIDA. Fisher is a Finance major with a 3.94 GPA. |
