The nation’s leading goal scorer this past fall, Gabriella Mencotti showed her ability many times over on the pitch this season, netting 29 goals on her way to a 71 point season. The junior from Novi, Michigan was electric, posting eight multi-goal games, including a four-goal and five-goal effort, the latter of which set a program record for goals in a single match. Through these efforts, Mencotti was named the D2CCA Player of the Year, and was a D2CCA and NSCAA All-American. In addition, she was selected to the NCAA and GLIAC All-Tournament teams, and was named a HERO Sports All-American.

Mencotti experienced similar success in the classroom as she worked through her coursework as an Accounting major. Pairing with her athletic accomplishments in her breakout season, Mencotti was named a CoSIDA Academic All-American, an NSCAA Scholar All-American, and the NSCAA Scholar Player of the Year. As part of the GLIAC All-Academic recognition, she was named to the All-Academic Excellence team for the second straight season.
