Megan Fogt // Basketball // Hillsdale

In a career filled with broken records and a long list of accolades, Hillsdale College senior Megan Fogt roped in one more trophy for her collection.

Fogt was one of three Chargers and xx student-athletes overall, to be named a winner of the GLIAC Commissioner’s Award for the Winter 2014-15 season. This marks the second year in a row Fogt has won this honor.

Fogt, a two-time First-Team All-GLIAC forward and the 2014 conference player of the year, will graduate next month with a degree in exercise science, and has enrolled in occupational therapy school at The Ohio State University. She holds the highest overall grade point average of any Charger student-athlete.

Hillsdale College’s all-time leading shot blocker and second all-time leading rebounder, Fogt has assembled a resume anyone can be proud of during her four seasons with the Charger women’s basketball team. She finished her career as the second player in school history with more than 1,000 points and 1,000 career rebounds. Her 145 blocked shots are tops in the program’s history and she holds single-game school records for minutes played (58) and defensive rebounds (24).

A native of Anna, Ohio, Fogt was twice named CoSIDA Capital One Second-Team Academic All-American, the first Charger in school history to earn that honor more than once at the Division II level.
