Hannah Mattar // Ashland // Swimming & Diving
As the Ashland swimming program’s lone representative at NCAA Division II nationals two years in a row, Mattar has single-handedly earned 88.5 Learfield Directors’ Cup points for the Eagle athletic department. In 2015-16, she finished 10th at nationals in the 200-meter breaststroke, 12thin the 200 individual medley and 19th in the 400 IM.
At the 2016 GLIAC Championships, Mattar was fourth in the 400 IM, fifth in the 200 IM, seventh in the 200 breaststroke and 200 medley relay and eighth in the 400 medley relay.
Mattar, vice-president of Ashland’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, is a three-time member of the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team. She sports a 3.98 cumulative grade-point average in Hospitality Management.
