Kyle Stankowski was a key reserve for the men’s hoops program at Michigan Tech in 2015-16 and averaged seven points-per-game while appearing in all 26 contests. The Mosinee, Wisconsin, native finished with six games in double figures, scored a season-high 16 points on two occasions (Nov. 27 vs. Southern Wesleyan and Feb. 13 at Saginaw Valley State) and shot 51.4 percent from the floor.

Stankowski was one of just five players in the NCAA Midwest Region to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Team honors this winter. He earned that same recognition last season and is a two-time GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team selection (2012-13; 2013-14), two-time NABC Honor Court member (2012-13; 2013-14) and the recipient of the 2013-14 Tech men’s basketball scholastic achievement award. 

The 6-foot-9 forward carries a 3.94 cumulative GPA and will leave Michigan Tech with degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics.
