Oilers Come up Short at Gannon

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 16-13 to Gannon University on March 18 in Erie, Pa. The loss gives the Oilers a 2-5 record on the season.

The Oilers out-shot the Golden Knights by a 30-25 margin, but turned the ball over 19 times.

Senior Kyra Bradley paced the team with five goals while freshman Ciara Burud had three goals, five draws, four caused turnovers and three ground balls.

Junior Olivia Sherman recorded two goals and three draws while junior Natalie Fury caused five turnovers.

The Oilers will be back at home on March 25 to host Charleston at 1 p.m.
