Tiffin University (22-21, 10-10 GLIAC) could not get the bats working in a doubleheader defeat at Ferris State, falling 5-0 and 3-0.

Kimmy Reynolds lasted just 1.1 innings in the opener, allowing 3 earned runs as the Bulldogs tallied three runs in the second inning.

April Bennett came in in relief, finishing with 4.2 innings and allowing 2 more earned runs, but Tiffin never really challenged, managing just 2 singles while Ferris State totaled 10 hits.

In the nightcap it was a bit closer, as Tiffany Snell went the distance and didn't allow any runs until the Bulldogs put 3 runs across the plate in the 5th inning.

In the sixth inning TU threatened to get on the board. Amanda Rock was hit by a pitch and was sacrificed to second. Libby Crow then reached on an error at first as Rock moved to third, giving TU runners at the corners with just one out. But a strikeout and pop out to second base ended TU's last real threat.

Overall TU had three hits in the game, while Snell allowed 7 hits and 2 earned runs over 6 innings with 4 strikeouts.
