A single game GLIAC and Grand Valley State record 2,983 people braved harsh weather conditions to see the #1 ranked team in the nation defeat the Dragons 10-0.
The Lakers finished the 1st half with a 3-0 lead on the scoreboard, but dominated every other offensive aspect. GVSU held a 25-0 lead in shots and a 9-0 lead in corner kicks.
The 2nd half saw the flood gates open from the Dragons standpoint, as the Lakers netted seven more goals to reach the 10 goal mark. At the final buzzer, Grand Valley State held a 45-5 lead in shots and a 12-0 lead in corner kicks.
The Dragons will be back in action on Sunday, traveling to Big Rapids, Michigan to tangle with the Ferris State Bulldogs.
