Tiffin University (11-7) tangled with Indianapolis in another razor thin contest, their third this season, and the Greyhounds came away with the narrow victory 16-14 in the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals.

Indy opened on a 4-1 run over the first 6:00, forcing the Dragons to comeback early. TU responded, going on a 5-2 run over the next 17 minutes to tie the score 6-6. At the break the game was tied 8-8.

Both teams wanted to grab momentum coming out of the halftime locker room, and the Greyhounds did it, scoring 6 of the next 7 goals to open up a 14-9 lead. TU was forced to play catch up the rest of the game, eventually pulling to within 16-14 with 3:48 left on Amanda Flotteron's free position goal.

TU had shots in the closing minutes, with Elle Hamilton getting two shots in the final 90 seconds, but one shot hit the post and the other was a saved free position shot as Indy held on for the win.

Overall Indy outshot TU 41-30 and held close edges in draws (17-13) and a nearly 2-to-1 edge in ground balls (13-7). The Greyhounds also took care of the ball, committing only 5 turnovers in the game. Tiffin also could not capitalize on numerous free position attempts, going 8 for 17.

Kat Schneeberger totaled 15 saves between the pipes in taking the tough loss, while Elle MacMillan led the team with 3 goals and 2 assists. Flotteron finished with 3 goals and an assist, while Maddy Batley also had 3 goals.

Amie Morrison had 2 goals and an assist, Elle Hamilton had 2 goals, and Tiffany Anderson also had a goal.
