The Tiffin University women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss on the road this afternoon, falling to the Ferris State Bulldogs.

The 1st half saw both teams attack offensively, with the Dragons firing 6 shots and Bulldogs launching 13. None of those shots found the back of the net, as TU goalkeeper Samantha Ortenzi collected four saves. In the 2nd half, the Bulldogs kept the pressure on the Dragons' defense, taking 20 shots in the half. In the 81st minute, Ferris State broke the scoreless tie with a shot to the opposite post to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead, and ultimately a GLIAC victory.

Ortenzi's performance in goal was admirable, facing 33 shots, 10 on goal, and collected 9 saves. The Dragons will continue their string of road games, traveling to Ohio Dominican University on October 7.
