Box Score The Malone University women's soccer team fell short on the road Thursday night as they lost to non-conference opponent West Virginia Wesleyan College, 3-1.

Malone almost held the Bobcats scoreless in the first half, until WVWC snuck one in with a minute left to play, making it a 1-0 lead.

In the second half, the Bobcats came out and scored 12 minutes into the period to increase their lead to 2-0.

Brianna Smith tallied her third goal of the season off a penalty shot in the 31
st minute after a foul was called on WVW goalie, making it 2-1. The Bobcats went on to score their third goal with less than a minute left in regulation. Â
