Dragons advance to GLIAC Final Four with 5-1 win

Tiffin University (8-4) advanced to the GLIAC Tournament Final Four with a solid 5-1 win over Saginaw Valley State at Midland, Michigan.

TU will take on top-seeded Grand Valley State at 3:45 pm Oct. 28 in an attempt to reach the GLIAC Championship game.

TU opened with a strong 3-0 lead, sweeping the doubles matches to take a commanding lead. Adel Musina/Emily Sim won 8-5, while TU pulled out two razor thin doubles match, as Juliette Sirgant/Anais Geslin and Milah Ryland/Lauren Prince both won by 9-7 scores.

Heading to singles play, Abbie-Jade Riley fell 6-2, 6-2 but the Dragons put the match away with a 6-1, 6-1 win by Sim and a 6-0, 6-2 win by Geslin.
