Huskies Finish Play at USTA/ITA National Championship
SUMTER, S.C. — Michigan Tech's Kwang Suthijindawong and Sandra Cvetanovic finished up play at the USTA/ITA Small College National Championships today. The Huskies played in the seventh-place match at the event.
Tech's duo fell by scores of 6-0, 6-1 to Mariana Rong and Cristina Lopez from St. Mary's (Texas).
Suthijindawong and Cvetanovic, who entered the National Championships with a 13-0 record, will return from South Carolina with a 13-3 mark.
Michigan Tech returns to team GLIAC play on Oct. 18 with a match at Lake Superior State.
