Tiffin University's Tiffany Snell lived up to her GLIAC Pitcher of the Week pedigree, firing a two-hit shutout to gain a split with Ohio Dominican on the road.

Snell allowed just 2 hits over 7 innings in the 1-0 victory, fanning 4 batters and only allowing two base runners after the Dragons took the lead in the third inning.

The Dragons (6-1) scored the only run they would need with two outs in the third inning. Libby Crow was hit by a pitch and came around on Brooke Lambert's double.

Snell continued to mow down Panthers' batters, not allowing another single until there were two outs in the bottom of the 7th inning.

TU dropped the opener 7-6, as a two-out error opened the door for five unearned runs to cross the plate in the second inning. The Dragons struck first, as Hayley Kobie singled followed by a Sierra Besser-Paul single and Amanda Rock's hit by pitch. Chloe Swaisgood then singled to drive home the first two runs of the game as TU took a 2-0 lead.

In the bottom of the frame, a dropped fly ball with the bases loaded cleared the bases for the Panthers. They then drilled a two-run home run to take a 5-2 lead.

The Dragons wasted no time coming back, as they plated three runs to tie the score 5-5. Jamie Sevenish singled and Kobie walked, setting the stage for the red-hot Besser-Paul, who doubled for 2 RBI. After Amanda Rock walked and Ally Rock was hit by a pitch, Swaisgood drove in her third run of the game with a single to tie the score.

ODU retook the lead in the bottom of the third, as a two-out double drove home a run and gave them a 6-5 edge.

The Panthers got an insurance run with a solo home run in the sixth inning, which proved critical in the 7th when Lambert smashed a solo shot to make it 7-6. Besser-Paul then singled and moved to second on a sacrifice, but Ally Rock popped foul to the catcher to end the rally.

Kimmy Reynolds took the tough loss, tossing 3 innings with 3 walks and allowing one earned run. Faith Bogard finished the game, throwing 3 innings and also allowing one earned run. Swaisgood had 3 RBI, while Besser-Paul had a double for 2 RBI and Lambert had a solo home run.
