Dragons sweep season series with Ursuline

The Tiffin University volleyball team won their third straight match on Tuesday night, defeating Ursuline College 3-1.

The Dragons hit .243 in the first set, on their way to a 25-17 victory. Tiffin continued to dominate in the next set, posting a hitting percentage of .385, en route to a 25-19 set two win. 

The Dragons went through a lull in the 3rd set, allowing the Arrows to take their first lead of the match 8-7. The Arrows kept the attack going, committing only three errors and hitting at a .316 clip. The Dragons were unable to comeback in the set, falling 25-22.

Tiffin found their groove in the 4th set and dominated the Arrows. Tiffin used two 4-0 runs to pummel Ursuline 25-15.

The Sports Imports/AVCA Player of the Week, Jenna Huffman, didn't disappoint, smacking 18 kills, hitting .536, and posted nine digs and five blocks. Emily Weithman finished with 45 assists, and Taylor Lattimore added 32 digs.

The Dragons move to 15-10 overall, the most wins since the 2010-11 season.
