Dragons open with 3-0 shutout of Concord

Tiffin University (1-0) jumped on Concord University early, scoring three goals in the first 25 minutes, then coasted through the second half in a 3-0 season-opening victory at Paradiso Fields.

Tiffin got on the board in the 14th minute when Michael McPeek took a cross from Limamu Mohammed to make it 1-0.

Andre Landell made it 2-0 when he took a nice flick from Scott Byrom in the 23rd minute and drilled it home from the left side, then added his second goal of the day in the 26th minute on an unassisted goal.

Cary Wilson and the Dragons' defense played well, holding Concord to just 4 shots in the shutout. Wilson made 2 saves over 90 minutes.

Overall TU outshot Concord 15-4 while also holding an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.
