The Malone University volleyball team concluded its trip to the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover in Aurora, Illinois on Saturday with a three-set defeat to Saint Joseph's (IN) College.  After splitting its first two matches at the event on Friday, the Pioneers fell to the Pumas Saturday by scores of 17-25, 17-25 and 23-25.

Middle hitter Elizabeth Maczuzak led the Malone attack with seven kills followed by outside hitter Sarah Brent, who registered six kills.  Outside hitter Taylor Slauterbeck added five kills and five digs.  Setter Brianna Clegg also made significant contributions, dishing out 11 assists and scooping up eight digs. 

The Pioneers, now 9-12 overall, will return to conference play next weekend with home matches against Lake Erie College on Friday and Ashland University on Saturday.
