Volleyball Wins Another, 3-0 Over ODU

The University of Findlay volleyball team came away with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-23) win at Ohio Dominican University on Oct. 25 to push their record to 15-6 on the season.

The Oilers, who now have a 10-3 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), were led by sophomore Hannah Tong and junior Andrea Roach during the match.  Each player tallied 12 kills in the win as the Oilers hit .295 as a team.

Junior Julie Lyons chipped in eight kills while senior Amanda Calhoun had 30 assists, ten digs and three kills in the match.

Junior Becca Shoemaker paced the defense with 12 digs while freshman Madelyn McCabe and senior Samantha Granger had seven and six digs, respectively.

The Oilers will return to the court again on Oct. 28 when they host Hillsdale at 7:30 p.m. in Croy Gymnasium.
