Dragons use treys to sink Salem 65-41

Tiffin University (2-2) used strong shooting from beyond the three point line to sink Salem International on the road 65-41.

The Dragons hit 10 of 22 shots, good for a .455 clip, as they dominated the second and third quarters to put the game away. After a 6-6 tie at the end of the opening quarter, TU started to click, outscoring Salem 21-15 in the next 10 minutes to lead 27-21 at the half.

TU continued their hot streak in the third quarter, outdistancing SIU 25-11 to post a commanding 52-32 lead. They also held Salem to just 33 percent field goal shooting in the contest.

Bre Nauman led TU with 13 points and 8 rebounds, while Allie Miller had 12 points with 4 assists. Tiggie Sanabria also reached double figures with 11 points, while Madison Jackson had 8 points and Deidre McKay 7.
