Tiffin University (7-3, 4-1 GLIAC) played stingy defense, allowing no goals over a 31 minute stretch, en route to a convincing 15-9 win over 9th-ranked Indianapolis.

The Dragons got on the board first on a goal by Tiffany Anderson off a free position shot, but Indy bounced back for two quick goals to lead 2-1 five minutes into the game. 

It was the last time the Greyhounds scored for 31 minutes.

TU scored the next seven goals, including the final five goals of the first half, to jump ahead 8-2 early in the second half. Elle MacMillan was on fire, scoring five of those goals, two on free position shots and two more off assists from Amanda Flotteron.

The Greyhounds finally tallied a couple goals to break the scoreless streak and pull to within 8-4 with 22 minutes to play, but the Dragons would not be denied, managing the clock and maintaining a 6 goal lead for the remainder of the half.

Five different Dragons got in on the scoring, with four of them getting multiple goals. MacMillan totaled 5 goals and an assist along with 2 draws, while Anderson had 4 goals and an assist with 3 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers.

Elle Hamilton also had a balanced sheet, notching 3 goals and an assist with 4 ground balls, 6 draws, and 3 caused turnovers. Maddy Batley had 2 goals with 5 draws, and Flotteron had a goal and 2 assists.

Kat Schneeberger was brilliant in goal, making 10 saves in 60 minutes for the win.

The Dragons controlled the game in two key areas, forcing 17 Indy turnovers while winning the hustle plays in a 21-10 ground ball advantage. The defense also held Indy to just 2 for 10 in free position shots.
