Dragons drop razor-thin match to Warriors in 5

Tiffin University (6-3, 0-1 GLIAC) traveled to Wayne State and battled the Warriors back and forth in a slugfest, eventually falling in five sets 27-25, 16-25, 25-19, 13-25, 12-15.

Both teams hit well, with Wayne State posting a .298 hitting percentage while TU matched them at .295. Wayne State had the blocking edge, not committing any blocking errors while TU had 5 miscues, but the match came down to the deciding fifth set.

With the score tied 5-5, Wayne State put together a small 5-2 run to put them up 10-7. The Dragons were unable to comeback with their own run, trading points the rest of the way at the Warriors won the final set by 3 points.

Olivia Cobb had 21 kills while hitting .362 with 4 blocks, while Alexandria Miglin had 11 kills, a .429 percentage, and 4 blocks. Jenna Huffman drilled 11 kills and had 7 blocks, while Kasey Adelsperger also had 10 kills. Danielle Hicks added 7 kills with a .333 percentage.

Emily Weithman had 50 assists while Taylor Lattimore added 19 digs.
