The Malone University men's soccer team lost on the road to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponent Northwood University (MI) 4-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Pioneers were able to hold the Timberwolves scoreless until NU's Mike Ankoviak would score off a header from a corner kick to make it a 1-0 lead with five minutes remaining in the first half. The score remained 1-0 at intermission.

Going into the second half, the Timberwolves would go on to score the second goal of the game in the 51^st minute to take a 2-0 lead. NU kept the momentum going as they went on to score 18 minutes later and then again 16 minutes later to seal the 4-0 victory.

Goalie Jon Crabbs had seven saves on the afternoon. Crabbs has 78 total saves on the season.

The Pioneers continue on the road as they face NCAA #16 Tiffin University for the second time this season on Friday, October 17^th at 2:00 p.m.
