Oilers Season Concludes With 3-1 Loss To Ashland

The University of Findlay women's soccer team finished their season with a 3-1 loss to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) rival Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio on Saturday, November 1. 

The Eagles jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Morgan Bittengle scored at the 5 minute mark. 

The Eagles extended their lead when Brittany Ehlert scored at the 17 minute mark and when Kelsey McKernan scored at the 47 minute mark.  

The Oilers got on the board when senior Eryn Weber scored unassisted at the 79 minute mark.

Senior Oiler goalkeeper Samantha Trimboli picked up the loss in the net and made one save in the contest. 

Ashland had the edge offensively with a 10-9 advantage in shots and a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks. 

The Oilers finished the season with an overall record of 6-9-3 and a 3-7-3 record in the GLIAC.
