The Dragons fell to the #4 Lakers on Sunday 5-0.

The Dragons knew how tough their Sunday afternoon matchup with #4 Grand Valley State would be. The Lakers have played in four straight national championships and haven't allowed a goal in a GLIAC game since last October. That streak continued with a 5-0 win over the Dragons.

Grand Valley started the scoring early, netting their first goal less than five minutes into the 1st half. The Dragons' offense remained aggressive, firing six shots in the half with one clanging off the crossbar. The Lakers made it 2-0 in the 15th minute, scoring a goal off a rebound on a Samantha Ortenzi save. The final three goals by the Lakers came in less than four minutes of game time, scoring in the 30', 32', and in the 34'.

The Lakers were held scoreless in the 2nd half. Goalkeeper Taylor Taffo faced seven shots in the 2nd half, making seven saves. The Tiffin offense totaled four shots in the 2nd half with none requiring a save.

Tiffin falls to 3-8-1 overall and 2-3 in the GLIAC.
