For the first time this season, the Dragons got to play in front of a home crowd, and they didn't disappoint. The Dragons dropped GLIAC foe Purdue University Northwest 3-1.

In the first set, the Dragons fell behind by a few points early, but rallied to tie the game at 7-7. From that point on, it was all Tiffin as they finished the set on a 18-8 run to drop the Pride 25-15. Tiffin's defense forced the Pride into eight errors and a -.094 hitting percentage.

The Dragons attack really got going in the 2nd set, hitting at a .355 clip with 16 kills. Tiffin raced out to a 8-2 lead to open the set, and the lead continued to grow as Tiffin held a 15-6 lead at the midway point of the set. Tiffin took the 2nd set 25-17, and headed to the third set hoping for a sweep.

The Pride were able to rally late in the 3rd set, finishing the set on a 6-3 run to take the set 25-22. The Dragons hit at a .088 mark, their lowest percentage in any set.

The final set was a blowout in favor of the home team. The Dragons never allowed the Pride to get going, leading the set from stem to stern. Tiffin hit at a .257 mark and collected 14 kills. On the opposite side of the net, the Pride managed a -.057 hitting percentage and only seven kills. Tiffin took the set 25-13.

Individually, Jenna Huffman led the way with 18 kills and a .696 hitting percentage. She added four blocks and 12 digs to her stat line as well. Kasey Adelsperger finished with 11 kills for Tiffin, and Taylor Lattimore chipped in with 25 digs. Emily Weithman finished with 26 assists and Loryn Huffman added 22 assists.

The Dragons move to 8-6 overall and 3-3 in GLIAC play. Tiffin will be back at it tomorrow morning, hosting Davenport University at 11:00 am.
