Tiffin University (13-4, 4-1 GLIAC) faced a battle against visiting Walsh but came away victorious 5-4.

Tiffin nearly swept the doubles matches but could not pull out the match at third doubles. After Luis Ludena/Toby Cutting won 8-4 and Agustin Mangone/Elio Lezama Perez won 8-2, Justin Kopronica/Sorin Navrotchi fell in a nailbiter 8-6.

The match came down to singles play, with TU and Walsh both winning two of the singles matched in straight sets. Lezama (6-3, 6-0) and Cutting (6-0, 6-3) both won in quick fashion, while Mangone fell 6-1, 6-4 and Kopronica lost a close one 6-4, 7-6.

Ludena fell in three sets 4-6, 6-2, 7-6, but Navrotchi pulled out the victory for TU at sixth singles, winning 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
