Preview: Laker Men's Basketball Set to Host Algoma

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Lake Superior State men's basketball program (0-2) is set to face the Algoma University Thunderbirds (0-4) at the Bud Cooper Gymnasium for their first home contest of the regular season on Wednesday Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. 

Despite the Lakers pair of losses to open the season, they have gotten off to a strong start offensively, scoring an average of 83.5 points per game while shooting 53.5 percent from the field. Caden Ebeling (Shelby, Twp., Mich.) has also gotten himself off to an impressive start this season, averaging 17 points per game after his previous season was cut short due to injury. 

The Thunderbirds enter the game with an 0-4 record, still searching for their first official victory of the season, and they are led on the attack by Johan Germain who is currently averaging 13.75 points per game to pace a balanced offense.
