Dragons Fall To Eagles

The Tiffin University women's basketball team fell 111-46 on Saturday afternoon, falling victim to the 43 turnovers that led to 57 points for Ashland.

The Eagles were dominant in the 1st half, scoring 69 points on 63.4% shooting from the field. The Dragons had trouble breaking through the Eagles defense, scoring only 22 points. Tiffin surrendered 27 1st half turnovers to the Eagles, and were out rebounded 17-9.

Ashland kept adding in the 2nd half, pouring in 42 more points. Tiffin's offense continued to have trouble against one of the best defenses in the nation, managing only 24 points over the final two quarters of play as Tiffin fell 111-46.

Jensen Hiegel led the Dragons in scoring, netting 13 points on 50% shooting from the field. 

The Dragons fall 6-14 overall and 2-10 in the GLIAC.
