Dominating 2nd Half Gives Oilers 20-6 Win

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team won their third straight game with a 20-6 decision over Walsh University on April 10 in Donnell Stadium. The win evens the Oilers record at 5-5 on the season and moves them to 3-0 overall in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers jumped out to an 11-5 lead in the first half and then completely dominated the second period, out-scoring the Cavaliers by a 9-1 margin. Findlay held a 37-18 advantage in shots and also won 19 draw controls in the game.

Sophomore Kyra Bradley continued her stellar play with six goals on six attempts while sophomore Erin Stacho had four goals and two ground balls.

Junior Taylor Trice had three goals while junior Sarah Lankton had two goals, two assists, five ground balls and five draws.

Freshman Rachel Heath picked up the win between the pipes with two saves while freshman Brooke Eicher came in the second half and allowed only goal to go along with four saves.

The Oilers will host Tiffin University on Sunday at noon in their final home game of the regular season.
