FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Wayne State University women's tennis team improved to 3-0 after a 8-1 victory over Findlay on Saturday morning at the Findlay YMCA. The Warriors held the 3-0 lead over the Oilers after doubles then sealed the win with five victories at singles.

DOUBLES RESULTS
- Senior
Lauren Hughes (Detroit, Mich. / Southfield) and sophomore
Astrid Ciellza (Tecumseh, Ont.) blanked Kaylee Davis and Allison Reichert, 8-0, at the third doubles position.
- Sophomores
Liv Peisachovitz (Vaughan, Ont.) and
Dasha Kuznetsova (Moscow, Russia) defeated Tijana Raicevic and Sheridan Mclean, 8-4, at No. 1 doubles, while junior
Liz Ghellere (Ararangua, Brazil) and freshman
Julia Walz (Rastatt, Germany) topped Matina Matic and Mikaela Hindenlang, 8-4, at the second doubles flight.

SINGLES RESULTS
- Hughes bested Bei Li Martin in two sets (6-0, 6-0) at the sixth singles position, while Ciellza posted a 6-0, 6-1 win over Davis at No. 5 singles.
- Walz made her collegiate debut with a two-set victory (6-1, 6-4) over Hindenlang at the fourth singles flight, and Kuznetsova defeated Raicevic (4-6, 6-1, 6-4) at the second singles position.
- Ghellere beat Mclean in a super tiebreaker, 10-6 (4-6, 7-6) at No. 3 singles, while Peisachovitz fell to Matic (4-6, 7-6, 10-6) at the first singles flight.
