Dragons Defeat Oilers 7-2 in Tiffin

The University of Findlay women's tennis team lost 7-2 to Tiffin University on Saturday, Oct. 18 in Tiffin, Ohio.

The loss gives the Oilers a 3-9 record on the season with a 2-9 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Matina Matic had a hand in both wins as she teamed with Nina Djordjevic to win #1 doubles and then also scored a 6-4, 6-2 win in #2 singles.

The Oilers will return to the court again on Oct. 23 to battle Michigan Technological University in Midland, Mich. before the GLIAC Tournament begins on Oct. 24.
