A single, error, and hit batter loaded the bases for Tiffin. Ryan Thomas cut Tiffin's deficit in half with a single to right field that plated two runs. Jack Dennis plated the final run of the frame with a fielders choice to make it 4-3 Davenport.

The Panthers never stopped hitting, scoring two runs in the 2nd, one in the 4th, one in the 6th, two in the 7th, three in the 8th, and a single run in the 9th to tally their 14 runs. The Dragons were held off the board until the 8th, plating their fourth run of the game via an error by the Panthers.
