Oilers Overcome by Timberwolves

Findlay, OH- The University of Findlay men's soccer team lost to the Northwood University Timberwolves on Wednesday, September 28.  This loss gives the Oilers a 2-6-0 overall record and a 1-5-0 conference record. 

Fifteen minutes into the first half, Northwood took the lead 1-0.

Eight minutes later, Northwood capitalized on another goal, ending the half 2-0 in favor of the Timberwolves.

At the end of the first half, Findlay received three fouls and Northwood received two fouls.

Four minutes into the second half, Northwood scored from a loose ball off of a failed clearance, ending the game 3-0.

At the end of the game, the Oilers received three yellow cards while Northwood received one yellow card. 

Findlay ended the game with 10 shots to Northwood's seventeen shots.  Senior goalkeeper Joe McClanahan totaled eight saves to Northwood's four saves for the match.

The Oilers will take the field again on Friday, September 30 against the Ashland University Eagles at 4:00pm at DeHaven Field.
