Tiffin University (5-4) fell to Palm Beach Atlantic 6-3 on day two of its spring trip in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The Dragons found themselves in a hole after doubles play, as they dropped all three matches. Luis Ludena/Elio Lezama Perez fell in a close match 8-5, while Toby Cutting/Nikita Parfenov also fell 8-4. Tom Arias/Santiago de la Rosa Mora dropped their third doubles match 8-3.

TU got three singles wins. Parfenov picked up one of two three set victories for TU, defeating his opponent 6-4, 3-6, 10-8, while Sorin Navrotchi also won a tight one 6-0, 3-6, 10-6. The other win came from de la Rosa Mora 6-1, 6-3.

Tiffin's three singles losses were also very close contests. Ludena fell at first singles 5-7, 6-3, 10-7, while Cutting fell 4-6, 6-4, 10-6. The other loss was from Lezama 6-1, 7-5.
