Men’s Soccer Concludes Season With 1-0 Defeat To Walsh

The Malone University men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat on Friday afternoon at home in its season finale against rival Walsh University.

The Cavaliers netted the contest's only score less than six minutes into the first half.   Bailey Moody dished a pass to Brett Sparks, who fired a shot to the lower left corner of the net.

Malone responded with a flurry of shots shortly after Walsh had scored and had several chances to pull even in the second period.  However, Walsh managed to make the early goal hold up as the visitors held the Pioneers off the scoresheet the rest of the way.
