The Warriors fell 5-4 on Sunday.

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- The Wayne State University baseball team (4-4 overall) concluded a three-game series against former GLIAC member Ohio Dominican (7-3 overall) on Sunday with a 5-4 defeat at V.A. Memorial Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Justin Kelly (Wheaton, Ill. / Wheaton Warrenville South) drove in two runs with a double to center field to give WSU a 2-0 lead in the first inning.  Two errors and three ODU hits in the bottom of the first inning led to three runs and gave the Panthers a 3-2 lead.  Brad Baldwin (Troy, Mich. / Bishop Foley Catholic) and Kelly drew walks to begin the third inning.  Baldwin advanced to third base after a fly out to center field and scored on a Patrick Adams (Detroit, Mich. / De La Salle) infield single.

- Kelly sent his second double of the day into center to begin the fifth inning and another RBI from Adams pushed the Green & Gold ahead 4-3.  Ohio Dominican tied the game at 4-4 with three hits in the bottom of the fifth inning.  The game remained tied at 4-4 until a two-out RBI in the bottom of the eighth inning gave ODU a 5-4 lead.  The Warriors went down in order in the ninth inning to end the game.
