Winter Haven, Fla. -- The 14th-ranked Wayne State University softball squad (13-2 overall) recorded a 5-0 victory over Lees-McRae (3-15) Monday morning at the Rebel Spring Games.

Sophomore Mackenzie Boehler (Saginaw, Mich. / Swan Valley) allowed just one hit with five strikeouts and one walk over her four innings in the circle to earn her first win of the season.  Freshman Amy Campagnolo (Guelph, Ont. / Saint David Catholic S.S.) notched her first collegiate save with three innings of hitless relief.  She struck out two and did not walk a batter while facing just 10 Bobcats batters.

The Warriors snapped a scoreless draw with two runs in the top of the third.  Devin Hentschel (Wyoming, Mich. / Rogers) had a leadoff single and went to second on a sacrifice bunt by Gabby Williams (South Lyon, Mich.).  After a ground out, Hentschel stole third and scored on a single by Logan White (Brantford, Ont. / Johnson C.V.I.).  White raced around to score on Lyndsay Butler's (Cambridge, Ont. / Centennial C.V.I.) third triple of the campaign.

WSU scored its final three runs in the sixth.  Butler led off with a home run, the first by a Warrior this season.  Emily Bryce (Rochester Hills, Mich. / Rochester Adams) doubled and Julie Ingratta (Markham, Ont. / St. Thomas of Villanova College) reached on a bunt single.  Shannon Hilton's (Gilford, Ont. / Bradford) single to center plated Bryce, with Ingratta scoring on a ground out off the bat of Amanda Burnard (Canton, Mich. / Plymouth).

White went 3-for-4 , while Butler was 2-for-3 as was Hentschel.

The Warriors will face fifth-ranked Augustana Monday afternoon.
