Box Score Huntsville, Ala. -- The Wayne State University softball team (2-1 overall) suffered a 1-0 setback to GLVC foe Maryville Saturday on day two of the 2014 Charger Chillout hosted by the University of Alabama-Huntsville.

The visiting Saints scored the only run of the contest in the top of the first as leadoff hitter Shelby Steinkamp singled and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt.  Following a pop out, Nicole Taylor singled to center field scoring Steinkamp.
