The Tiffin University men's basketball team were battered and bruised by the Ferris State University Bulldogs 96-65 on the scoreboard, and the rebounding totals reflected the score, with Ferris State holding a 53-38 advantage.

At the start, the two sides were neck-and-neck with neither team leading by more than six points. At the 12:16 mark of the 1st half, Tiffin trailed 13-11, but a 9-0 run over the next three minutes gave Ferris State a 22-11 lead. The Bulldogs continued to build upon their lead, hitting four three point shots and shooting 46% from the field. Tiffin's offense struggled against the Ferris State defense, having seven shots blocked and committing nine turnovers. The Dragons headed to the half trailing Ferris State 47-20.

The Dragons hit only 21.6% of their shots in the 1st half, and were led by Brandon Wilkins with 10 points off the bench. Tiffin also struggled from beyond the arc, going 1 for 7 from three and made it to the free throw line only four times.

The 2nd half saw more of the same, as the Bulldogs kept the Dragons at a distance. The Dragons offense played better in the half, scoring 45 points, but the Bulldogs were just as efficient, scoring 49 points on 19 of 36 shooting. Tiffin grabbed only 16 rebounds in the 2nd half, compared to the 25 hauled in by Ferris State. The Bulldogs converted their rebound advantage into 25 second chance points on their way to a 96-65 victory.

Tiffin finished the game shooting 32.9% from the field, 33.3% from deep, and 58.8% from the free throw line. Brandon Wilkins led the charge offensively, scoring 15 points. Austin Adams added 13 points and 6 rebounds, and Alex Brown and Juwan Johnson each chipped in with 10 points.

The loss drops the Dragons to 5-7 overall and 2-4 in GLIAC play.
