Tiffin University (8-11) wasted little time getting back on track after their trip to Florida, exploding against Urbana for 22 runs in a sweep. The Dragons scorched the Blue Knights 10-1 and 12-3 in two five-inning games.

In the opener, TU benefited from an 8-run fifth inning to support Tiffany Snell, who cruised over her 5 innings with a 2 hitter. She fanned 7 while allowing one earned run.

Trailing 1-0 in the third inning, Jamie Sevenish singled and then stole second. Libby Crow then also singled and stole second. Alayna Lytle's ground out to second drove in the first TU run but they were far from done.

In the fourth inning, Gabrielle Hess singled and was sacrificed to second. Lindsay Graves then doubled her home to give TU a 2-1 lead.

Then came the fifth inning.

Lytle walked and Brooke Lambert singled. An error by Urbana's catcher on a sacrifice allowed both runs to score. Chloe Swaisgood then singled to drive in another run. After Graves singled, both runners were sacrificed to second and third. Another Urbana error on a fielder's choice let in another run. Sevenish kept the train moving with a single to put two runners on, and Sierra Besser-Paul put the final touches on the blowout with a big three-run home run.

Overall Graves had 2 hits with a double while Sevenish also had 2 hits.

In the nightcap, TU didn't waste any time in denting the scoreboard, scoring 9 runs in the second inning. TU got on the board in the first inning, with Sevenish singling, stealing a base, then moving to third on a sacrifice. Hess's ground out to third got the run home to give TU a 1-0 lead.

After Urbana responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame, the Dragons came right back in the second. Graves tripled and came home on Swaisgood's ground out. Ally Rock then walked and was followed by Lytle and Sevenisih's singles to load the bases. A passed ball let a run in, while Abbey Zedacker then walked to fill them back up again. Brooke Lambert drew another walk for an RBI.

Hess didn't bother with a walk, slashing a double to clear the bases and then stealing third. Urbana continued to donate to the TU cause, committing an error at short to allow another run to score. Swaisgood then singled for an RBI. Another UU error put two runners on for Lytle, who doubled home another run.

TU completed their scoring in the fourth inning. With Graves on first, Swaisgood singled and an error in center field on the play allowed another run to come home. Ally Rock then singled home another run to complete the TU assault.

Kimmy Reynolds benefited on the mound in game two, going 4 innings and allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits and 3 walks while fanning 4. Faitih Bogard finished the game, allowing no hits over her one inning of work.

Hess had 2 hits with a double for 4 RBI, while Swaisgood (2 RBI) and Lytle also had 2 hits each. Graves added a triple.
