Box Score (FORT WAYNE, Ind., March 15)- The McKendree University women's lacrosse team had eight players score goals on Sunday in an 18-5 win at Indiana Tech.
The Bearcats improved to 6-0 with the win and will host No. 7 Florida Southern College on Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m.
Five McKendree players scored multiple goals Sunday, led by freshman
Paige Salthouse (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy) with four, and followed by sophomores
Victoria Lelo (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) and
Morgan Cremen (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley), and freshman
Mia Fiore (Eureka, Mo./Eureka High School) each with three goals. Sophomore
Hannah Schneider (Ellisville, Mo./Lafayette) scored two goals, and juniors
Bree Suter (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) and
Rianne Holzmeyer (Hazelwood, Mo./Hazelwood West) and freshman
Dana DiPasquale (St. Charles, Mo./Barat Academy) each had one. Lelo, Suter, and DiPasquale all had two assists, while Fiore and junior
Shirley Boland (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy) each had three draw controls.

Amy Porta (Ellisville, Mo./Marquette) improved to 6-0 and had six saves in the victory.
The Bearcats jumped out to a fast 3-0 lead in under the first four minutes, before the Warriors scored to cut the score to 3-1. McKendree extended its lead to 9-1 with six-straight goals, and traded scores with the hosts over the last eight minutes of the half to lead 10-3 at the half. Indiana Tech cut the score to 11-5 with 26 minutes to play, but the Bearcats scored the last seven goals of the game to earn the 18-5 win.
