The Malone University men's soccer team lost 4-0 on the road to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponent Saginaw Valley State University (MI) on Friday night.
The Cardinals jumped on the scoreboard first at the two minute mark in the first half to take an early 1-0 lead.
A minute later, the hosts scored again to make it a 2-0 game. The Cardinals went on to score again nine minutes later to increase the lead to 3-0 with 33 minutes left in the first half.
The Cardinals would score their final goal of the evening at the 52 minute mark in the second half to secure the 4-0 win.
The Pioneers will continue conference play in Michigan as they head to Northwood University (MI) on Sunday, September 20 at 2:30 p.m.
