Tiffin University (18-24) got back on the winning track, winning a pair of games at Ohio Valley 2-1 and 9-1 in five innings.

In the opener, Kimmy Reynolds tossed another gem, going the distance and allowing just 3 hits and one earned run with 7 strikeouts and a walk. Still, Reynolds needed help from the offense, as Ohio Valley held a 1-0 lead entering the sixth inning.

Kate-Lynn Urgo singled and stole second in the sixth. With two outs, April Bennett singled her home to tie the game. Jamie Sevenish then laid down a bunt single and moved to second on the throw. A subsequent error by Ohio Valley allowed her to come all the way around to score an unearned run and let TU take the lead.

TU had 10 hits overall, with Lindsay Graves getting a double. Urgo had 3 hits and Sierra Besser-Paul had 2 hits.

In the nightcap, TU banged out 13 more hits, as the Dragons racked up 5 runs in the second and 3 more runs in the 4th.

Trailing 1-0, Hayley Kobie, Urgo, and Brooke Lambert all singled to start the fifth. Samantha Ringwalt then drilled a huge grand slam to give TU 4 runs. Bennett then walked and came home after a Sevenish single and error from third base.

In the third inning, Michelle Poe slammed another home run to tack on another TU run.

In the fourth, Bennett singled, went to second on an error by the catcher and then scored on Sevenish's single. Libby Crow followed with another single. After a double steal by Crow and Sevenish, Amanda Rock slashed a single to drive in both runners.

That was more than enough for Savannah Chalfant, who went 5 innings and allowed 5 hits and 1 earned run with 7 strikeouts and a walk.

Sevenish and Kobie had 2 hits each, while Poe and Ringwalt had home runs.
