2019 Purdue Northwest Preview 

The Purdue University Northwest women’s volleyball team looks to make an impact in their first year as full members of the NCAA. The team looks to build on their third season in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

PNW returns Annie Pulizos (Greendale, Wis.), who had a stellar freshman campaign, after playing in 28 out of 29 matches. Pulizos recorded 158 kills and 1.61 kills per set and led the team with 59 blocks.

Team setter and captain Brooke Ahrens (Covington, Ind./Covington) returns for her fourth season after missing most of last year due to injury.

The Pride bring back a lot of leadership this season with four valuable seniors this season who look to make an impact this season.

Their season begins at the UNC Pembroke Tournament on Friday, September 6 as the Pride take on University of Virginia-Wise at 9 a.m.  CT.

The conference slate begins Friday, September 20 as the Pride travel to Ashland to take on the Eagles starting at 6 p.m. CT.
