Lakers Start the Baseball Season Ranked No. 4 in the NCBWA Preseason Poll

Bridgeport, Conn. -- Grand Valley State University's baseball team is ranked No. 4 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) preseason poll. The Lakers are coming off a 52-5 record in 2011 and a trip to the NCAA Division II World Series.

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) will start conference play March 24 with the GLIAC Tournament set to start May 10 at V.A. Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe, Ohio.
