2018 NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament Selections
NCAA - Two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) baseball programs have been selected to participate in the 2018 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship's Midwest Regional. The two programs will match-up with one another as back-to-back GLIAC Champions Northwood University (38-14) and No. 3 seed will battle Ashland (32-20) who landed the No. 6 position.
The rest of the bracket features top-seeded Illinois-Springfield (45-7) versus No. 8 Hillsdale (26-28), No. 2 seed Bellarmine (37-17) versus seventh-seed Southern Indiana (32-21), and No. 4 Ohio Dominican (32-15) against No. 5 Quincy (39-16). Game times have yet to be announced.
The brackets were announced Sunday night (May 13) by the NCAA. The Midwest Regional features eight teams in a double-elimination format. Games will begin Thursday (May 17) in Springfield, Illinois.
