INDIANAPOLIS - The Wayne State baseball team ranks first in this week's NCAA Midwest Region Baseball Rankings, while Ashland is second and Northwood fifth.
The Warriors are 27-9 head into this weekend's series at Davenport. Ashland (30-7) travels to Northwood (26-13) in a pivotal series.
Quincy is ranked third, Illinois-Springfield fourth and Malone sixth. The top 10 also includes Missouri S&T, Indianapolis, Drury and Southern Indiana.
